Clinical Counselling
Clinical counselling is a professional, evidence-based approach to helping individuals, couples, or families address mental health, emotional, and behavioural challenges. It involves a trained and licensed therapist working collaboratively with clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences, with the goal of improving well-being, resolving specific issues, and fostering personal growth. Clinical counsellors use therapeutic techniques from various psychological frameworks—such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and mindfulness-based approaches—tailored to each client’s unique needs.
Child & Youth Counselling (5-12 Years Old) - Clinical Counselling
Child and youth counselling focuses on supporting children and adolescents (5-12 years old) in navigating emotional, behavioural, and social challenges. It provides a safe, nonjudgmental space where young people can explore their feelings, develop coping strategies, and build resilience. This type of counselling often addresses issues like anxiety, depression, trauma, bullying, family conflict, and self-esteem, using age-appropriate techniques such as play therapy, art therapy, and talk therapy. The goal is to help children and youth better understand themselves, improve their relationships, and thrive in their personal and academic lives.
> Develop Emotional Resilience & Coping Skills
> Improve Communication & Relationships
> Increased Self-Esteem & Confidence
EMDR Consultation (For EMDR Therapists Trained in EMDR)
1 hour (60 minutes) of EMDR consultation with Robert Grigore MCP, RCC, EMDRIA-Approved EMDR Consultant. Use Robert's knowledge and clinical EMDR experience to help guide you through your most challenging cases on your way to EMDR Certification and beyond.
Teen Counselling
Teen Therapy, also known as “Teen Counselling” or “counselling for teenagers,” is a supportive process where teenagers (aged 13-19) work with a trained therapist to explore and address emotional, behavioural, or mental health challenges. It provides a safe, non-judgmental space for teens to talk about and work through issues like anxiety, depression, peer pressure, self-esteem, family conflicts, or school stress. Although 20% of adolescents and teens (12-18) will suffer from a serious mental health challenge, and 50% of all mental disorders begin by early adolescence, through therapy, teens may process negative past events, and gain coping skills, emotional insight, and strategies to navigate life’s challenges, fostering resilience and personal growth.
